Hi! My name is Jeanne Balsam; I’m a graphic designer, author, editor, illustrator, and public speaker. The unique combination of these skills insures that I can both create and inspire, whether in a project which brings your ideas and vision to life or helps you envision what they may be.

I’m very excited about helping authors self-publish. I currently design children’s picture books and chapter books, and am available to help you with editing, if needed. I also now offer school visits and workshops for adults. I design and lay out magazines, newsletters, and promotional materials, and create fundraising programs. My background includes a BFA from Pratt Institute, post-graduate studies in the writing and illustration of children’s books, and my MA from NYU. I am an active member of SCBWI, and work with fellow authors and illustrators in refining my own writing and illustrating skills. My artwork and writing have been featured in numerous publications.
